CGI Action Networks
Action Networks are small groups of CGI members who meet throughout the year to coordinate action on specific issues. Action Networks allow members to trade ideas, share best practice information, and explore potential partnerships.
The Action Network Intern will work with individuals throughout the CGI Commitments Department to provide support for new and ongoing Action Networks. Duties include providing operational support for Action Network meetings through creating invitations, registering members in the Raiser’s Edge database, note-taking during meetings, and various meeting preparation and follow-up activities. Prior experiences in event planning and strong communication skills are preferred.
Due to the high-profile nature of CGI members, candidates should be professional, adaptable and, should have exceptional writing skills. They should be very organized, able to pay attention to detail, handle multiple tasks at once, and meet strict deadlines. The ideal candidate should also be adept in Microsoft Suite and comfortable learning how to use the Raiser’s Edge database.
