Los Angeles, CA, March 2011

On March 17, the Millennium Network returned to Los Angeles, for a sold out event at BOULEVARD3 in Hollywood.

The evening was a huge success, with over 900 supporters attending and raising money for the life-changing work of the Clinton Foundation. President Clinton challenged everyone to take on the How Question: How to turn our good intentions into positive change in people’s lives. After President Clinton’s remarks, Drake took the stage for a six-song set performed for an excited crowd.

A number of special guests turned out in support, including Blake Griffin, Rose McGowan, Maria Bello, Michael Strahan, Will Forte, Chaka Khan, Pat O’Brien, and Brent Bolthouse, who served as Guest DJ.

Brooklyn, September 2010

Nearly 400 young professionals, philanthropists, and artists gathered together at the Brooklyn Bowl for an evening of philanthropy and fun. The Graveshift Band and Brooklyn’s own Talib Kweli performed a rousing set to an excited crowd. The evening was capped off by a memorable performance from music legend Chaka Khan. But the star of the evening was President Clinton, who spoke to the crowd for over twenty minutes about the importance of the next generation taking over the mantel of philanthropy and finding innovative and creative solutions to the problems the world is facing.

Miami, April 2010

On April 16, 2010 — a Friday night in Miami — over 700 young professionals including students, entrepreneurs, artists, actors, and athletes gathered at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach for an exciting night of inspiration and entertainment with President Clinton.

President Clinton spoke to the dynamic group of the great challenges and great opportunity that the interdependent world provides. The relief and recovery efforts in Haiti were also a big topic of the evening. Several celebrities, including boxer Andre Berto, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Pierre Garçon, and Melky Jean were in attendance to raise awareness and support for the ongoing efforts in Haiti. Pharrell and N.E.R.D capped off the nights with some lively Miami entertainment.

Chicago, November 2009

The Clinton Foundation Millennium Network launched in the Midwest, adding a new chapter to how young people can be involved in the Clinton Foundation’s approaches in helping 2 million people living with HIV/AIDS gain access to treatment to working with the world’s largest cities to fight climate change.

Sports legends Dwayne Wade and Derek Lee were in attendance on November 11, as were many of Chicago’s young leaders. President Clinton gave an inspired speech asking our generation to redefine leadership, philanthropy, and global engagement before introducing Chicago native Common to the stage.

London, October 2009

On October 30, the Clinton Foundation traveled to London for its first international Millennium Network event at the Dorchester Hotel. We were thrilled to see that momentum for the Millennium Network extended abroad and Brit and Grammy Award Winner Joss Stone performed to a sold-out crowd of over 750 of London’s young professionals. President Clinton took to the stage for over 40 minutes to address the global challenges we face to today.

Los Angeles, April 2009

On April 30 in Los Angeles, more than 600 leaders and philanthropists gathered at the Roosevelt Hotel, where Jessica Alba and Adrian Grenier introduced President Clinton in front of a packed room of L.A.’s most influential professionals. President Clinton asked the crowd to become the "How Generation," and answer the great questions of our time: How can we leave a positive impact on the next generation? How can we make individual changes in our lives to make a large difference in the world? The night was capped by a performance by Grammy Award winner will.i.am.

New York City, September 2008

On September 18, the Millennium Network hosted its second New York event at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where 850 of New York’s most influential young philanthropists came together to hear President Clinton speak about the need for citizen activism and the importance of making a personal commitment to address the challenges of global interdependence. Grammy Award winner Wyclef Jean brought down the house with a captivating performance.

New York City, July, 2007

On July 31, the Clinton Foundation hosted more than 2,500 Millennium Network members at a reception at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom. Comprised of young professionals age 40 and under who are looking to make a difference in the world. Actor Jeffrey Wright introduced President Clinton, who explained that his goal is to make the work of his Foundation tangible, giving all contributors the biggest return on their investment. Following the President Clinton’s remarks, recording artist John Legend performed for the crowd.

San Francisco, April 2007

Millennium Network SF

In April, the Millennium Network hosted its kick-off event in San Francisco at the historic Fairmont Hotel. More than 1,500 of the Bay Area’s brightest young professionals came out for an evening of food, drinks, and music spun by DJ Biz Markie. President Clinton delivered an inspiring speech on the importance of young people engaging in public service and philanthropy. All proceeds from Millennium Network ticket sales and personal contributions support the Clinton Foundation’s programs around the globe.
